Up in the alley and down by the street,
walking soundlessly on silk like feet.
A leap like shadow, a flick of it’s tail,
quick and agile, but appears to be frail.
With topaz eyes,
it curiously spies,
and walks away before you realize.
With rhythm on it’s paws it’s it’s own Jazz band,
it’s thoughts are small, it’s philosophy grand!
it’s ideas are remarkable from wherever you stand.
